Due to the nature of our business, I35 Telephone Company and Southwest Telephone Exchange (d/b/a Interstate Communications) has access to information regarding the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, and amount of services you the customer use.This data is considered customer proprietary network information (CPNI) and also includes information contained in the bills pertaining to telephone exchange service.Under federal law, you have the right, and Interstate Communications the duty, to protect the confidentiality of your CPNI.
From time to time, Interstate Communications and its affiliates may use your CPNI to more effectively market communications-related products and services, including communications products and services that you may not currently subscribe to. Use of CPNI in this manner enhances customer service and allows the company and its affiliates to offer products and services tailored to your specific communications needs. Your CPNI will not be shared with third parties or be used to market any services provided by third parties.
If you approve our use of CPNI for these limited purposes, you need take no further action.
If you do not approve our use of CPNI for these limited purposes, you have the right to "opt-out" of this arrangement. By contacting us by phone or email, you will be opting out of this arrangement and denying the company and its affiliates permission to use your CPNI. Denial of permission will not affect any services you already receive from Interstate Communications.
If you do not respond within 33 days of our mailing date, it will be understood that you have given us approval to use your CPNI. Except as otherwise required by law, this approval/disapproval (including by electing not to return the form) will supersede any prior oral or written instructions you have provided to the company regarding the use or disclosure of your CPNI.You may withdraw or deny access to CPNI by contacting the company at any time.
